ZINGO 2

Here's a simple idea with powerful applications: Make a list of 25 items. Print bingo cards on 5 x 5 grids with different arrangements of these items. Give a card to each participant or team. Incorporate the cards in a variety of training games and exercises.

Five years ago, we developed and marketed ZINGO, a software program that will take your words, phrases, or sentences and print up to 65,000 different arrangements as bingo cards. Hundreds of trainers have used this software in a variety of ways. They sent us rave reviews and useful feedback. We now have a new and improved version of this software program ready.

Rewritten from scratch as a native Win95/Win98/NT4 program, ZINGO 2 has many new features:

sorting of items
support for any printer
support for any typeface
easy to use forms on the screen
choice type face, size, and style for the title, items, and card number
cards of any dimension from 2 x 2 to 7 x 7 (including rectangular configurations)

ZINGO 2 comes complete with a large-size job aid that relates the screen display to the card output. You get a software manual that includes a Quick Start guide and detailed instructions in plain English. There is also a game design manual with 10 different sample game formats, to suit different types of training objectives and participant preferences. The sample games include icebreakers, closers, pretests, posttests, energizers, puzzles, classification exercises, and even a cultural diversity simulation. You can prepare any of these ZINGO games in a matter of minutes. And you can design your own ZINGO activities to suit your special needs.

Remember: All you do is type 25 words, phrases, or sentences. The program takes care of printing up to 65,000 bingo cards. No two cards will be the same.

If you type more than 25 items, you can increase the number of spaces in the card, or you can have the program pick 25 items at random for each card.
If you type fewer than 25 items, you can reduce the number of spaces in the card, or you can have the program randomly repeat some items to fill each card.

ZINGO 2 produces flexible training and testing activities that can be conducted with 2 to 2000 players. The sample games in the booklet permit both cooperative and competitive play.
