What is GROWING A TEAM?

It's a board game that deals with team development. It helps you explore the four stages in the development of a team and facts and strategies associated with each stage.

How do I play GROWING A TEAM?

It's simple! Play GROWING A TEAM in four rounds, each round corresponding to one of the stages in the team development process.

Place your piece on the START space on the game board. Take 10 cards. Read the cards and pick out the ones associated with the first stage. Move your piece one space for each selected card.

After all players have moved their pieces in the first round, begin the second round with a new set of 10 cards. For this round, pick out the cards associated with the second stage. Move your piece as before.

Continue the game, one round at a time. At the end of the fourth round, you win if your piece is in front of the others.

Two things make the game more exciting:

Blank cards are wild cards. If you get one of them, simply make up a statement that belongs to the appropriate stage. Move forward one space.

Challenges keep players on their toes. If someone makes a mistake in associating a card with a particular stage, be the first one to challenge. If you are right, move forward a space ? and push back the other player's piece. Don't be too impulsive, though: If your challenge is incorrect, you will be pushed back.
